Welcome to Our Family Kitchen!

Hello there! I’m Sophia, Naomi’s mom, and I’m so happy you’re here. You might already be familiar with Tea Time with Naomi—that lovely little space where Naomi shares her thoughts, recipes, and life’s beautiful moments. Well, now I’ve got my own cozy corner of the internet, right here at Cooking with Tea Time with Naomi, where I’ll be sharing the recipes and stories that have been passed down in our family for generations.

For me, cooking has always been more than just feeding my family. It’s about creating moments that linger—where a simple meal becomes a memory, where the kitchen is filled with laughter, and where love is measured in spoonfuls and servings. I’ve been in the kitchen for as long as I can remember, learning from my own mother and, later, teaching Naomi the joy of stirring a pot and tasting life’s little pleasures.

Why This Space?

When Naomi launched her blog, I could see the passion she had for sharing those little, everyday moments that make life special. Now that I’ve had a bit more time on my hands, I decided to start my own little space here. This is where I’ll be sharing the family recipes Naomi grew up with—the ones that made her smile at the dinner table—and adding a few new ones I’ve picked up along the way.

What You’ll Find Here

This space is all about good, honest food that brings people together. You’ll find a mix of old favorites—hearty stews, comforting casseroles, and baked goods that fill the house with warmth—as well as a few new dishes I’ve discovered and loved over the years. Naomi and I both believe that the kitchen is where love grows, and I hope you’ll feel that in every recipe.

This blog isn’t just about cooking; it’s about creating experiences around the table, making the most of those quiet moments with the people you care about, and passing on those little secrets you’ll never find in a cookbook. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out, I hope you’ll find something here that inspires you to make your own memories in the kitchen.

So, let’s get cooking together! Grab your apron, share a story, and let’s celebrate the beauty of food, family, and love. And of course, if you have any questions or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you!

With love and a sprinkle of salt,
Sophia
