  • Total Time: 12–15 minutes

Description

These buttery, flaky crescent rolls are stuffed with a creamy, savory filling of beef sausage and cream cheese. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or quick breakfast treat, they’re irresistibly delicious and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound cooked and crumbled beef sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and crumbled beef sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and shredded cheddar cheese (if using). Mix until well blended.
3️⃣ Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3: Prepare the Crescent Dough

4️⃣ Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

Step 4: Fill and Roll

5️⃣ Place 1–2 tablespoons of the sausage filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
6️⃣ Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and tucking the edges slightly to seal the filling inside.

Step 5: Bake

7️⃣ Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
8️⃣ Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.

Step 6: Serve

9️⃣ Remove from the oven and let the crescents cool slightly. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Sealing the Crescents: To prevent leaks, press the dough firmly around the filling as you roll.
  • Batch Cooking: Prepare the filling in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes to restore their flakiness.
