Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup dill pickles, chopped (optional)
½ cup mayonnaise (for topping, optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the meat is browned and the onions are soft. Drain any excess grease.
Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors develop.
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place three cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread more meat mixture over the noodles, then sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with a generous layer of cheese on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Optionally, top with chopped dill pickles and a drizzle of mayonnaise just before serving for that full cheeseburger effect.
