Notes
✔ Bourbon Substitute: If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, swap bourbon for maple syrup for a delicious twist.
✔ Make Ahead: Assemble the bites a few hours in advance and refrigerate. Bake just before serving.
✔ Extra Flavor: Add a tiny drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of flaky sea salt before serving for an extra gourmet touch.
✔ Phyllo Alternative: If you can’t find mini phyllo cups, use crescent dough or puff pastry cut into small squares and bake in a mini muffin tin.
✔ Nut-Free Version: Replace pecans with crushed pretzels or sunflower seeds for a crunchy alternative.
