Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover chicken works well)
- 1 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 15 Hawaiian sweet rolls (sliced in half)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13 baking pan.
2️⃣ Prepare the Bottom Rolls:
- Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls into the prepared baking pan, arranging them snugly to form the base.
3️⃣ Make the Chicken Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Ranch dressing, crumbled turkey bacon, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
4️⃣ Assemble the Sliders:
- Evenly spread the chicken and bacon mixture over the bottom half of the rolls in the baking pan.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
5️⃣ Add the Top Rolls:
- Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese and filling to form the sliders.
6️⃣ Garlic Butter Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with dried parsley for an extra touch of flavor and presentation (optional).
7️⃣ Bake:
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
8️⃣ Serve:
- Remove the foil, let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm. Enjoy these cheesy, savory sliders!
Notes
- Turkey Bacon Substitute: You can use regular bacon if preferred, or for a healthier option, stick with turkey bacon. Both provide a nice crispy texture and flavor.
- Cheese Options: While cheddar or Colby-Jack are great choices, feel free to mix it up with mozzarella, Swiss, or even pepper jack for a little kick.
- Make Ahead: You can assemble the sliders a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake. Just cover them tightly with plastic wrap before storing in the fridge.
- Custom Add-ins: Feel free to customize your sliders by adding extras like sautéed onions, jalapeños, or even avocado slices before baking.
- Storage: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain the crispy texture of the rolls.
