Loaded with layers of deli meats, melted cheese, tangy banana peppers, and a buttery Italian-seasoned glaze, they’re baked until golden and gooey. Ideal for game day, parties, or an easy weeknight meal, these sliders deliver bold flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Dijon mustard
6 slices Genoa salami
6 slices deli ham
6 slices pepperoni
6 slices provolone cheese
6 slices mozzarella cheese
¼ cup sliced banana peppers
¼ cup sliced red onions (optional)
For the topping:
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2 Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
3 Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly over the cut sides of the buns.
4 Layer the salami, ham, pepperoni, provolone, and mozzarella over the bottom buns. Top with banana peppers and onions if using.
5 Place the top halves of the buns over the fillings to complete the sliders.
6 In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.
7 Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.
8 Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
9 Let cool slightly, then cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
You can customize these sliders with different meats such as capicola or turkey and swap out the cheeses to your preference. To save time, assemble ahead and refrigerate, then bake just before serving. These pair well with chips, pickles, or a crisp side salad.
