Description
If you’re a fan of sweet and savory combinations, these Peanut Butter Reese’s Donut Sandwiches are the ultimate indulgence. Soft, fluffy donuts meet rich peanut butter and creamy Reese’s peanut butter cups for a decadent treat that’s sure to satisfy your cravings. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or any time you’re looking for something extra special, these sandwiches bring together the best of both worlds.
Ingredients
4 Donuts (preferably glazed or plain)
1 cup Peanut Butter (creamy or chunky, depending on preference)
4 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (mini size)
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (optional, for dusting)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Milk (optional, to thin peanut butter if needed)
Instructions
Slice each donut in half, creating a top and bottom for each sandwich.
In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter with vanilla extract. If the peanut butter is too thick, add a small amount of milk to make it easier to spread.
Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on the bottom half of each donut.
Unwrap the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and place one on top of the peanut butter on each donut bottom.
Top with the other half of the donut to complete the sandwich.
If desired, dust the top of each sandwich with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness and presentation.
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to two days for a sweet treat that’s ready whenever you are.
Notes
If you prefer a different type of donut, you can experiment with chocolate or cinnamon donuts to add an extra flavor layer. You can also customize the peanut butter filling by adding chocolate chips or a drizzle of honey for added sweetness. These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be kept for a day or two in a sealed container. The powdered sugar is optional but adds a nice touch if you’re serving these for a special occasion!
