Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Fries:
Bake or fry the French fries according to package instructions until they’re crispy and golden brown.
2️⃣ Add the Cheese:
Once the fries are cooked, transfer them to a baking sheet. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the fries.
3️⃣ Melt the Cheese:
Place the fries back in the oven and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
4️⃣ Top with Bacon:
Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cheesy fries. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5️⃣ Garnish:
Finish by topping with chopped green onions and drizzle with sour cream if you’d like an extra creamy touch.
Notes
- Customize the recipe by adding jalapeños, ranch dressing, or your favorite toppings!
- For extra crispiness, fry the fries instead of baking them.
- If making homemade fries, cut potatoes into thin strips, season, and fry or bake until golden.
